1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JSONLab (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JSONLab provides browser-based tools for JSON formatting, validation, conversion, JWT encoding/decoding, and related developer utilities. All processing is performed client-side in your browser.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or impair the Service
  • Not use the Service to process or store illegal content
  • Not circumvent any security measures or access restrictions

4. Intellectual Property

The JSONLab name, logo, design, and code are owned by JSONLab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

Third-party libraries used by JSONLab are licensed under their respective open-source licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.).

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. The JWT and JSON processing tools are provided for convenience and should not be relied upon for production-critical verification without independent validation.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL JSONLAB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Since all data processing happens client-side, JSONLab cannot be held responsible for any data loss, corruption, or security breach resulting from the use of our tools.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. JSONLab is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service provider is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
